My name is Fiona Griffin and I have been working for the partnership since 2006. I completed my chartered accountant’s training in London after studying for an Economics degree at Durham University. After qualifying, I specialised in Finance and spent several years working in London for an American bank performing audit and compliance work.
After the birth of my first child, I took a break from work and followed my husband’s career in the oil industry. This took us to Houston, Jakarta, The Hague, Muscat and here to Aberdeen.
Throughout my time with Grant Considine I have worked with many clients of all sizes, operating in different industry sectors. I specialise in providing accountancy and tax services to owner managed businesses and specialist UK and international tax advice to individuals. I am also part of our Charities team which provides both accountancy and audit services.
I work part time so that I can pursue my hobbies and spend time with my family. My three sons are now in their twenties and I am frequently visiting them, as well as my family based in Yorkshire and Cambridge. With several full and half-marathons completed I am a regular runner and enjoy spending time at the gym. I also sing and I am a member of the local community choir, the Banchory Singers.
