I graduated from Aberdeen University with a MA in Accountancy in 1986 when I joined one of the big four accountancy firms where I completed my training in general practice and audit and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1999.

I then moved into the oil industry where I worked for The Wood Group for 20 years carrying out various roles. I have extensive experience in Management Reporting, Budgeting and Cash Flows.  

Following a short career break I joined Grant Considine in April 2022 and work with a varied client base providing accountancy and taxation services as well as cash flow forecasting. 

I work school hours, so I am around for my young family. I willingly help out at their Brownie and Football Club and I am an active member of the school parent council.

I am still actively involved at lambing and harvest time on the local family farm where I get to enjoy my love for the outside.  Any spare time I have I can be found in my garden.
