Kay Watt (BSc, CIMA Adv Dip MA)

Business Advisory Manager

I joined the team at Grant Considine in 2013, after taking the big step of making a career change from the teaching profession. I re-trained and gained my Accountancy degree and CIMA qualification in 2018. I am very proud of my achievements and have thoroughly enjoyed the transition into the accountancy profession.

My role at the firm involves building a close and dynamic relationship with my clients, advising and supporting them with all of their business needs and requirements. My client base is varied and ranges from individuals, sole traders and partnerships to Limited Companies. The work I perform for them is also wide ranging – processing their payroll and VAT returns, preparation of their financial statements, tax returns and other compliance and ad hoc work. I have a special interest and expertise in employment taxes and payroll matters.

Grant Considine is a professional and adaptable employer who fosters a happy and supportive working environment. Our team is friendly, approachable and reliable. We value team working and problem solving and are dedicated to providing the very best service and client experience that we can. Our work is often time critical and we ensure that we work in a timely and efficient manner to meet our clients’ needs.

Outside of work I enjoy reading and walking. I also participate in stand up paddle boarding (SUP) mainly on white water rivers with friends. I paddle on The Dee, The Don, The Tay and The Spey rivers regularly. My other main interest is exploring Scotland (and further afield) with my husband in our motorhome with our two miniature dachshunds.
